LLM Ping Privacy Policy

LLM Ping is a Chrome extension that moves AI answers between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Grok, and can let two of them hold a conversation. This page explains what it reads, where that goes, and what it keeps.
The short version
LLM Ping has no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It collects nothing about you, and nothing it reads is ever sent to me or to anyone else.
What it reads
- On chatgpt.com, claude.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.com and grok.com only, it reads the text of AI responses when you ask it to send one, and the text you select when you use the right-click menu.
- During a Ping Pong session it reads the latest message in the two chat tabs once a second, to tell when an answer has finished.
- It does not read any other website, your browsing history, or anything you type into other pages.
Where that text goes
Only into another of the five AI sites above, because you asked it to. Once the text is in that site's chat box, it is handled by that service under its own privacy policy, exactly as if you had pasted it yourself. LLM Ping never sends it anywhere else.
What it stores
- Your preferences (hotkeys, number of rounds, chosen AIs, broadcast targets) are kept in Chrome's sync storage. If you have Chrome sync turned on, Chrome copies these settings between your own signed-in browsers. No conversation text is stored there.
- A running Ping Pong session, including its transcript, is kept in Chrome's session storage on your device so it survives the extension restarting. Chrome clears it when you close the browser.
- Your clipboard receives text only when you press Copy transcript, or when sending to a site fails and LLM Ping copies the text so you can paste it yourself.
Why it asks for each permission
- Access to the five AI sites: to read responses and paste text into their chat boxes.
- Context menus: to add the right-click "send to" options.
- Scripting: to reach a chat tab that was open before the extension was installed or updated.
- Storage: to remember your preferences and a running session, as described above.
- Clipboard write: for Copy transcript and the copy fallback.
Sharing and sale
No data is sold, shared, or transferred to anyone, used for advertising, or used to determine creditworthiness or for lending. The use of information received by LLM Ping adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change. A change that affects what LLM Ping reads or where it sends anything will also be noted in the extension's store listing.
